		<displayName>Steve Sieren</displayName>
<aboutMe>Steve Sieren has lived in Southern California his entire life. California’s diverse scenery is what continues to keep Steve attracted to California, although most of his family has since moved away. Steve’s interest in the outdoors was sparked primarily by family trips to scenic places as a kid and through backcountry snowboarding later in life. Photography followed after he accidentally found a 40 year-old OM2 35mm camera in a friend’s garage. After a few bad rolls of film, Steve found his niche. With good feelings to follow, Steve was hooked and so his passion began.

It has been a short amount of time since photography has become more than just a hobby for Steve. His enjoyment for photography is evident in his abilities to depict any moment similar to how a person views the natural world in silence for a single second and realizes that the world has captured their emotions. It is with this patience that has allowed Steve to persevere through getting towed out of the snow many times, trekking through miles of rain and snow, slipping in tide pools, and breaking his camera. Steve believes “everyone has their bad moments, but the good moments always out number the bad; with a good attitude, you can always make something out of nothing.”

His work has appeared in numerous national publications such as Outdoor Photographer, 805 Magazine, and many other nature and architectural magazines. His photographs have also been used by the National Park Service, the California State Park Foundation and Tamron Lenses USA.</aboutMe>
