Windows Vista - versions of Microsoft Windows NT, ruler of operating systems used on personal computers.
In Windows NT product lineup new system is a version number of 6.0 (Windows 2000 - 5.0, Windows XP - 5.1, Windows Server 2003 - 5.2). To indicate "Windows Vista" is sometimes used abbreviation "WinVI", which brings together the name "Vista" and the version number recorded in Roman numerals.
