I suppose I should mention I have lost over a hundred pounds and so has my husband. Not from raw foods, but we plan to finish off the rest of the weight with raw foods. We hope we can be minimalist. We hope we can help in any way protect our planet. This is a huge lonely journey. We are reaching out in hopes to find people more like us. Or who want to know more about the lifestyle. I feel it would be highly appropriate to say a few things about diets. There are a TON of them. I think you can agree with me when I say, “A diet consists of what you eat”. Rather, now a days a “DIE-t” is something that you need to commit to do or die style and starve. I know for myself, this is SO VERY TRUE! I have been on lots of so called “diets”. I have the experience and first hand to tell you, if you haven’t been able to find a “DIET” that works, stop looking. The word DIET has changed so radically. So please get that the hell out of your head! You WANT to be healthy. YOU NEED TO BE HEALTHY. For good reasons, who would want to go without some of their very favorite comfort foods? I know taco’s are my most favorite food and so is pizza. French fries? Scones? Fry sauce? Mayonnaise? Ketchup?!?! Beer? I could go on and on. Well I am hoping we all can learn from each other about being healthy. Scanning half truths and finding the right paths for each of us. Things are so screwed up with the thoughts of being thin rather than actually STAYING healthy. I think the primary agenda of most women (Yes men too) out there is to be thin. Thin is IN, thin is sexy, thin is confidence, thin is the best above the rest! I am here to say “yeah right!” If you think being thin is most important in your life you will fail at it all! If you think being thin will make you a better person I will tell you to your face you are wrong. Picture this for me please….. A thin you. How do you see this? Do you have lots of energy? Are you happy with life? Are you glowing with peace? Or are you pale, and frail? Do you wake up each morning wanting to sleep for 8 more hours? Do you fight with your spouse? There are consequences to it all. You can choose to be in the dark about the food you are eating. Or you can take actual accountability for what you are doing to your body. You can choose to stick to a “DIE-t” or just be healthy. I am hoping we all can change our inner feelings about what we want from ourselves. It has taken me a long time to understand that I am worth being healthy. If you feel you are worthy that is great! If you still need help I hope this blog finds your way. Health is what you make it. I am not here to tell you what you need to do or what you should do. The primary objective of this blog is to clarify lots of common mistakes people make. I also want to shine light on lots of theories. There will be details of different “DIE-ts” on this blog. Lots of personal stories from readers. The goal here is to both teach and learn. No judgement needs to be #1 on this list.";s:15:"currentLocation";s:2:"UT";s:6:"emails";a:1:{i:0;a:2:{s:7:"primary";s:4:"true";s:5:"value";s:27:"ThePeppyPineapple@yahoo.com";}}s:4:"urls";a:0:{}}}}
