After renting for years after my divorce, I decided that paying a mortgage that would stay the same would be so much smarter than renting, where my costs would constantly go up. Smart, right? Maybe.

What I don't know about the home-buying process could fill a book (and probably does.) Hopefully this blog will continue and I can talk about my home-ownership trials and tribulations. But now?
