I started this blog to explore the worlds of education and creative writing. In one way, I am using writing as "educational journalism," detailing my experiences on the frontline of supporting fellow educators. On a professional level, my work has been in teaching and supporting teachers, spanning being a high school ELA teacher, assistant professor, teacher trainer and staff developer, and currently an educational consultant. On a personal note, I am using writing to explore the boundaries of my margins, to explore my creative possibilities and hone my writing skills. I have been writing poetry for decades, and now commit time and effort to publishing a poetry manuscript and completing a novel. Looking forward to receiving your feedback and input.
