NOTE:I am a writer and truth is my opium. It has not always been this way.  My name is James Grant and I am many things. I feel as if I can be many people. I have used this as an excuse for flippancy but I shall no longer, it is vulgar. My aim with my writing is to give a window into my soul. To give light to the optimism, passion, love and despair that pervade my existence and define me. To share thoughts, feelings, actions and consequence and to make note of the struggles that I allow to grip me.  I believe that a man should embody all that he desires, I believe that admitting what you want is only the first step in the path towards getting it. I believe that we are all capable of the most profound kindness and the most terrible judgements and I believe above all that life should be attained. It is not merely enough to say that we all live for some of us are more alive than others.   It is not my intention to rob life of any of its' glory, I wish to lay to rest cynicism and embrace all that life can offer. I wish to always have the power to delight and surprise myself as well as others and above all I wish to feel, for that is the gauge upon which we measure life.  There are no second chance, no regrets and no apologies. This is life, in all its' awful glory.
