Travel Thom

Inspired by the songs my mother used to sing about the children of the earth, how we look different, but regardless of appearance, we are equal. These songs and other nursery rhyme about journey into the the great world, triggered my wanderlust and the desire to meet all the people from the songs, see the great wonders, created by man or by nature. Therefore, tourism had to become my career.
My hobbies are music, I've played in various bands and sung in various choirs. Among others I sing in the "Skala Opera Choir", and have participated in several opera productions, as well as major choral works.
Beyond this, cycling is my second passion. There's nothing like a long bike ride through the countryside early on a summers day. Not only is it great exercise, but the bike will take you far away, and before you know it you are on a journey that could turn into a little adventure.

When on travel I enjoy the company of my life long travel companion. Together we travel the world, and enjoy meeting people and to hear their story. We enjoy to shoot a lot of pictures, and write about our travels.
On travel I like to do things my way, that means I seldom travel with the big tour operators, but fix everything by my self, and as a travel agent that is of course half the fun. I love planning a new trip and get restless if I don’t have a project on my sketch book.
