I'm a relatively average twenty-something, brown hair, brown eyes, just under five foot five. I'm looking for a career to inspire me after six years of "higher education." I'm old enough that it's hard to keep up drinking with my younger sister, and there are things I can't eat anymore. Halloween is still a highlight of the year and volunteering for a book review is a highlight of the week. I like to experiment in the kitchen, and also with food. My cats will make frequent appearances in my blog. I love my family and my man, but their quirks and conflicts will appear here too. I like soul music and hiking but these days I wonder if I like them for the few moments they provide of sensory stimulation and if so, what is missing in my life.
