I am a mom to three amazing young boys ages 2, 3, and 5. I was home last year on extended maternity leave this year and chose to homeschool my boys for preschool. I am a teacher certified in grades K-12 with specializations in English. I graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in English and from Johns Hopkins with an M.A.T. in Education (grades 1-8). I have taught grades preK-8 and some volunteer teaching at the high school level. I began my career 10 years ago as a member of Teach for America. Currently I teach 7th grade English.
