I am a writer and educator living in the decidedly non-technological "Amish Country" of central Pennsylvania.
In addition to my blog- Utopia or Dystopia- I am a contributing writer for the Institute for the Ethics of Emerging Technologies,
and am currently working on a book: Utopia: The Traveler's and Builder's Guide that explores the promise and perils of the idea of utopia from the Axial Age to the present.
I also work as a teacher for the PA Distance Leaning Project and am
an adjunct professor of political science and history for Delaware Valley College.
I have two young daughters, Maggie and Anna, who are the center of my universe.
