I walk among you all as a 32 year old man. You only see my tinted glasses as they take in the sunlight. You only know me as yet another urbanite with somewhere to go or something else to do.
But in truth, I am an aspiring author, a drummer, a martial artist, and a curious human being who doesn't always know how to be anything other than anonymous and aloof in a crowd of people. I have one autistic brother who continues to surprise me with both his innocence and his growing knowledge.
I love New York! I love Central Park. I love ducks, and I admire people who strive to be authentic. I cheer for the misunderstood "bad guys" in horror movies, I love baseball, and I have a penchant for putting myself in socially awkward situations just for the rush. I relish the opinions of others even if I am too shy to ask for them all time. I get stared at a lot, but I scowl because I don't know what else to do with the attention.
That's me in a nutshell. I've seen much, I've done much, and I am still looking for my place in this world. I seek to bring beauty into it, but I will do it my way. I hope you will all be there to share it with me.
