NOTE:I am a graduate of The College at Southeastern, Wake Forest, North Carolina, having earned a B.A. in English and also Biblical Studies.   I am a relatively recent convert to Anglicanism. I was born again in 1995 and two years later became a Calvinist and joined a Presbyterian church (PCA) in 1998. A year and a half later I began to question Calvinism's presuppositions, and subsequently abandoned Calvinism altogether.   Not until I matriculated at Southeastern in 2006, however, did I first read the "Works of Arminius." Having read Arminius's soteriology, I discovered that he has been misrepresented by his Calvinist detractors.
