<aboutMe>Muxerista Anahuakenya. Scholar. Writer. Activist. Educator. Learner. Xicanna. Poeta. Humanist. Mexicana.

I was conceived in La Colonia Benito Juárez, Jérez, Zacatecas. Shortly after, I crossed the politically-charged México-U.S. border in my mother's womb as a four and a half month fetus. In the trunk of a car. I began my schooling process in El Sereno at 3 years old. And haven't stopped. Will probably never stop. Even after me petateo. I write in Spanglish to promote a multiplicity of expressions. I am most passionate about ancestral knowledge systems that honor el buen vivir comunitario as a decolonizing approach to the art of living. My sources of strength are the confluences of the natural world inside and around me, viscerally connecting me to LIFE.spirit.BREATH. I invite you to participate in this journey with me. Send me your thoughts, push my thinking creatively and most importantly, may we push our shared humanity forward. :||:</aboutMe>
