I was an executive assistant for a major corporation for close to thirty years until I had a trip and fall accident which caused my, already existing, fibromyalgia to go out of control forcing me into early retirement.
As a result of this accident, I am no longer able to do a lot of the things that I loved. It altered my life forever. I have had to pick up the pieces and try to create a life that brought me some type of fulfillment.
I have created this blog to try and reach out to others that have had their lives altered forever by a sudden illness or disability and to try to pass on what has helped me.
I hope to share articles about health but also talk about beauty and skincare products for women of advanced years. I am 57 and have not had any professional work done but have very few wrinkles. I have been told that I look much younger than my age. I believe the reason for this is due to the large amount of research I have done over the years. I have found products that are inexpensive which have the same results and ingredients as the high end, expensive ones.
I also pride myself as being the queen of the cheap deal. I will pass on any deals that I find whether for health products, skincare, makeup or just about anything else. In this economy, we all have an obligation to pass on a good deal to one another.
