I'm a retired RN, full-time writer who lives in a very rural area in coastal NC. I live here with Doc and our two Aussie Doodles, Seamus and Fiona. We have 3 grown sons. On a daily basis we see deer, tons of birds including blue birds and woodpeckers, shore birds, and the occasional black bear, and we love living on the Pungo River, perfect for a writer. My award-wininng mysteries start with THE BLUE VIRGIN, set in Oxford, UK, and is the first of a series featuring American Nora Tierney. Book 2, THE GREEN REMAINS, follows Nora's move to Cumbria; Book 3, THE SCARLET WENCH, has her getting mixed up in murder yet again with a theatre troupe. THE GOLDEN HOUR, book four, takes place mainly in Bath. My second series, The Trudy Genova Manhattan Mysteries, features the nurse consultant who works for TV and movies. DEATH UNSCRIPTED starts the series; DEATH OF AN HEIRESS is the new release with Trudy and her NYPD detective boyfriend, Ned O’Malley, facing two killers with two victims. My short story, “Quiche Alain” appears in Malice Domestic’s anthology Mystery Most Edible. I also review crime books on this site, and am Managing Editor of Bridle Press Press, a curated hybrid press. I’m a member if Sisters in Crime, the NC Writers Network, and the International Association of Crime Writers.
