My roots are buried in the Dirty South. I grew up learning the importance of God and chivalry through my family's immeasurable amounts of good ole fashioned southern hospitality. I began writing poetry in my late teens mostly via avenues of heartbreak. Music has always helped me instill an inner peace in my ever-racing mind and thumping heart. I moved out west 15 years ago and live just down the mountain from a little slice of Heaven. Most people refer to her as Lake Tahoe, I call her the fountain of youth. I play Chef during the day and search for ways to better myself, and maybe the world by night—through reading, writing, and believing in a supreme power. It is been an epic journey to get to the bottom of my purpose in this existence we call life, and in the dual nature of the wilderness within me, I am finally beginning to feel what it is like to be free under the veil of Heaven.
