1. Course: BA Linguistics

2. Favorite book: The Tiger's Wife by Téa Obreht - A fascinating concept brought to life by masterful execution. I would like to see this one day be adapted to screen.

3. Favorite film: A lot, but Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi (2017) for now - I think it's the movie that came the closest to realizing the potential within the self-contained universe of the Star Wars saga.

4. Favorite media practitioner: I can't think of one at sufficiently inspires me at the moment, but perhaps the director Bong Joon-ho for his critical stance on capitalism and not being afraid to show it in his work.

And for lying about his father being a fisherman to Harvey Weinstein in order to keep a scene from being cut.

5. Favorite song/music/band/songwriter: Yann Tiersen's film scores for Amélie (2001) and Good Bye, Lenin! (2003) - His compositions are full of character for a film score. Though they draw attention to themselves, they never do so in a way that distracts from the film but instead enhances the overall emotional experience of the film.

6. Favorite meal: Mi Goreng with chopped leeks and a fried egg on the side - possibly the best meal I can have for P20.00

7. Hobbies: Writing films and graphic novels
