Claire Fullerton grew up in Memphis, TN, and now lives in Malibu, CA. Her third novel, Mourning Dove, a coming of age, Southern family saga set in Memphis, was awarded a position in the Faulkner Society's Words and Music contest in the novel category, won the bronze medal in Southern fiction by Readers' Favorite, is a finalist in the 2018 Independent Authors Network Book of the Year, and is a finalist in the 2018 Literary Classics Book Award. Mourning Dove was published by Firefly Southern Fiction. Claire is represented by Julie Gwinn, of The Seymour Literary Agency. Her novel, "Dancing to an Irish Reel" (Vinspire Publishing) is a 2016 Readers Favorite, and a finalist in the 2016 Kindle Book Review Awards. Dancing to an Irish Reel is comtemporary fiction set on the western coast of Ireland, and tells of an American who moves to rural Ireland, where she meets an Irish musician who won't come closer or completely go away. Thankfully, her Irish friends help her navigate the social and cultural Irish nuances. Claire's first novel, "A Portal in Time" ( Vinspire Publishing) is a Paranormal mystery written in two time periods that fit together like pieces of a puzzle, set in Carmel, California.
