Christy Walk

My name is Christy Walk. I live in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania with my mom and two dogs. My autism journey began on October 12, 1987. I got very sick with menengitis, and my mom sent me to the hospital that day. I was diagnosed with autism shortly after. I am one of the lucky ones that survived the menengitis. I’m so glad and thankful that I’m still alive after I had beat death at such a young age. I am brave and strong and a fighter. I always have been and always will be a fighter that is brave and strong.
