I'm Edel, the face behind Mostly Mum. I am mum to three adorable (well, at least most of the time!) little ones, Alizée (10), Elodie (6) and Caleb (10 months). Many, many moons ago (yes, I'm an ancient Generation Xer!), I studied French and German at university in Ireland and even went all the way to completing a PhD on the French translations of Grimms' "Red Riding Hood". Rather than committing to an academic career, I dabbled in fashion PR in Paris before finding my way into magazine journalism in London
