I am a reformed Imperialist capitalist. I believe in the Republic and I believe we must confront the manufactured life we have been marketed by making choices about how we consume, enjoy and live.
I began selling my art as a 13 year old making macrame plant hangers and earrings sold in Old Town San Diego.
I manufacture art from others waste and trash. I used vintage gems, precious metals which are recycled and seaglass to make my creations.
I don't work at selling anything and often give my pieces to friends even though I have a long and successful story of selling through great retailers including Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, The Golden Door and more. I designed jewelry for characters on many popular TV shows including ER, The West Wing, 90210, Buffy, Charmed, The Hughleys and many more.
My life in this industry has taught me a great deal about the importance of being a responsible artist and knowing the outcome of mining practices and pearl farming on our environment as well as on the traditional lively hoods of the native peoples.
I have chosen to always manufacture in California and now in Colorado and sell regionally in ma' hood.
I split my time between our off grid organic farm and ranch and traveling.
