Margo Schwartz is an autistic self-advocate and neurodiversity advocate.  She believes in and strives for a world where neurodiverse individuals are treated with respect and dignity, in which such individuals are welcomed as valuable members of the community,  in which our strengths bear more weight than our perceived "otherness", and in which our differences are valued rather than shunned. She has extensive experience with the special education system, both as a student and as an academic and behavioral aide.

In addition to being an activist, she is also a writer, a poet, a musician, a photographer, an artist, and a jeweler.
