OK, so here’s the deal.

I’m Gail, a professional photographer, writer & journalist based in the West Midlands. I am responsible for all writing and photography on this site. I pride myself as being completely honest, I won’t hide how I really feel about something but I will warn you, I do have a very positive personality. I want people to know that when they read my posts, they’re reading my honest and sometimes investigative reviews & opinions.

My writing is full of life stories, life experiences, places I’ve enthusiastically visited and people I have interviewed, many of who have inspired me in some way. I don’t tend to write about things i’m unenthusiastic about or things I dislike. If you are looking for negativity in any shape or form, perhaps you should skip along….

Farewell my friend!

This blog was born because of my desire and ability to write. I have never been diagnosed with autism but since having an autistic son I believe it is just ONE of the answers too many questions I have regarding a traumatic childhood. Writing helps me make sense of things, gives me a focus and gives me a sense of achievement.

I am a wife, a mother, and a photographer. I have been looking for light and photographing families, portraits, weddings and events professionally for just over 10 years.
My goal and what I strive for as a photographer is to capture the natural. I don’t believe in stiff, awkward photos. I want you to look back on your photos and see real genuine moments. I want your photos to reflect you in the truest form possible.

Life is alive and inspiring and real – And that is what I am after, both trough the lens and reflected in my writing.

I would love to hear from you and feel free to pop on over to my photography website.
