I'm a 'potteries' girl, born in Stoke on Trent and my first job was on a 'potbank', (a factory producing china tea sets, ornaments and dinner services), for Crown Staffordshire Pottery. I was a flower maker which consisted of making flowers out of china clay for the assemblers to place in china bowls or on plastic stems for vases. I left all that behind to join the WRAF and broaden my horizons. I was out and married within 2 years!
Card making was introduced to me many years ago by my friend Tracy, a simple kit put together and given to me in a beautiful rose box for Christmas. Now I have the full spare room with drawers, cupboards and shelves full of crafting goodies and equipment.
I work full time as a PA so have to craft in the evenings and at weekends so I don't make tons of cards but trickle along nicely. I hope you enjoy my posts and I will try to make them as interesting and informative as I can. Thank you all for visiting my blog.
