Dylan Raines

Hi! My name is Dylan and I am on a mission to walk all 195 nations on earth for human rights!

I departed from my home-base in Salem, Oregon on October 17, 2017 and began traveling to major cities across the USA to spend time walking the streets, connecting with people and inviting others to join me as I spend my days simply walking to share a message of peace and hope.

I believe the time has come for us as members of the human family to unite together and work for human rights to become a reality for every human being.

"Whereas recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world... All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood."

- Universal Declaration of Human Rights [See complete text]
I have chosen to walk for human rights because it is a term that encompasses many of the problems which cause incredible suffering throughout our world today. From the right to life which is robbed by extreme poverty; to the right to live in peace which is destroyed by violence and aggression; by working and walking for human rights I hope to be a part of solving many of the problems causing suffering in our world today.

I am so honored and appreciative of your support in making this mission to walk every nation on earth for human rights possible. Your donations, no matter how large or small go extremely far in helping me to travel and connect with people. Most of my lodging as I walk is provided by friends and new friends I meet along the way who offer a place to sleep for a night, or I camp with a tent and sleeping bag.

If you would like to support this journey, please go to humanitarianexplorer.org/give and choose the option that works best for you.

Connection is what is needed most to stay encouraged and motivated. Please email me with any questions or simply to say hello :)
