Now, Where Did It Begin?

I have always been a “glass half full” person, a “can do” woman, a “carpe diem” employee.

I crushed my alcoholism. This November I will celebrate 37 years of sobriety.

I survived a physically and verbally abusive father and older brother.

I developed a successful career in recruiting/workforce management/HR.

I became a mother, a stepmother and a grandmother.

I found a successful marriage. We will celebrate our 30th year together in May.

I lost my mother. She is with me in spirit each and every day.

I developed early-onset Alzheimer's/MCI/Dementia in 2005.

I have learned to thrive. I believe in a spectrum of hope.
