CEO and Chief Editorial Officer of Story Worldwide, the world's leading full-service, multi-channel content-focused ad agency. Offices in London, New York, South Norwalk, Seattle, Nagoya and Hong Kong.
Global Advisory Board member of the Future of Advertising Project, Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
I've founded and run numerous traditional and digital companies in journalism, publishing, marketing and advertising. My experience includes rock 'n' roll music (studio work, film scoring, touring), photography and film (photo essays, feature film work for 20th Century Fox, Europe and documentaries), newspaper reporter (Pulitzer Prize finalist), magazine writer (National Magazine Award finalist), publishing entrepreneur and non-traditional advertising and marketing (headed publishing and marketing units at Campbell-Ewald, McCann WorldGroup and founded several new marketing and publishing companies, including Story).
Particularly interested in the revolution in all forms of media and marketing that is being propelled by the continuing digitization of all content, the advent of audience control over media and the rise of socially multiplied advertising.
