First and foremost, I am a mom. I am a wife, friend, sister, aunt, cousin and the other many other titles that I can find myself wearing.
I started this blog as a means to help me cope with the daily ins/outs of dealing with my sons ADHD and all the challenges that it brings to the table. And when I say "cope", I mean this outlet was founded as a sanity escape and a way to express myself and just simply DEAL with everything ADHD related and how it at times feels like it rules my life.
Unfortunately, I do not have any family or friends who can even remotely relate to the daily struggles I have with my child so I decided to simply stop venting to deaf ears. Plus, any advice they might have felt compelled to provide is worthless because it has no basis or experience to which it's being supplied.
With that said...I wish I would have founded this option years ago, but better late than never.
So, today I begin blogging and somehow, someway, someday I truly hope that a parent who is struggling with an ADHD child will find this information comforting or in the very least slightly useful to help them realize they too are NOT alone.
