Favorite Book: "The Song of Achilles" by Madeline Miller remains to this very day as one of the most well written novels I have ever read. It made me feel love, joy, anger, and sadness in ways that not many other novels have been able to, and it is an experience I believe that I will cherish for as long as I possibly could.
Favorite Film: Recently over the break I was able to watch the film entitled "Portrait of a lady on fire", directed by Celine Sciamma. What I love about the film is the way it utilized art. Beyond the fact that the writing was amazing and the characters were beautiful in every way possible, it was in the way that every shot looked like a painting come to life, and the dialogue were lines of prose talking about and around the lives of the characters in the film, that made me truly love it.
Favorite Media Practitioner: Korean film director Bong Joon Ho is a man who hasn't failed to impress me. Given his current wave of popularity due to the success of his film Parasite, there have been a lot of instances for him speak about his advocacies and things he believes in. He's managed to use this platform to raise awareness about different social issues, as well as issues that are relevant to me as a film major and I look up to him because of this.
Favorite Songwriter: Hozier has the most songs saved on my phone. I don't think a day goes by where I don't listen to at least one of them. His voice never fails to calm me, but it has to be said that his writing has made me cry at least once or twice before.
Favorite Meal: Lumpiang Shanghai has been, and always will be my favorite thing in the world. I remember saying so as early as 1st grade, and now that im graduating college, I don't think my answer has changed since before. It's easy to eat, and it goes really well by itself or with other condiments.I am happy eating it either way.
Hobbies: Photo and video editing, animating, sketching, reading, writing, watching films and tv shows, and painting
