Ling-Ling Shih 施玲玲

Ling-Ling Shih, PhD, is a Professor of Chinese Language and Culture at Bard Early College, Cleveland. She received her Master's and PhD degree in Anthropology from State University of New York at Albany, another Master's degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from Middlebury College, and a certificate in Translation Studies from University of Chicago. Prior to teaching at BHSEC, she has also taught Chinese, Sociology, Anthropology, East Asian studies at Hope College, Grand Valley State University, and Nanyang Technological University.

While teaching Chinese language full time, she is also currently taking on-line courses from UCLA Extension--Personal Financial Planning Certificate Program to pursue her interest in this area and to work towards becoming a certified Financial Planner (CFP).
