I am a writer, editor, and researcher with a background in the publishing world. I see the world around me and want to write about it right away. As the eccentric Minnesota writer Brenda Ueland once said, "Everyone is original and has something to say." Those are words to live by.

My writing philosophy is simple: Less is more. I write both non-fiction and fiction. My writing interests include: history, gardening, and culture. I also have a background in developmental editing. Currently I am writing historical articles for the Journal of the American Revolution and a historical fiction novel on the exploits of a family who "gave it all" during the long Revolutionary War (1775-1783). I live in the beautiful and historic North Shore of Massachusetts.
