Nadin Mai

I'm a freelance researcher in Film and Trauma Studies, with further interests in several other subjects, such as photography and memory studies. In July 2015, I completed my doctoral thesis on the representation of duration and absence in the post-trauma cinema of Filipino director Lav Diaz.

I have graduated from Stirling in 2011 with a BA (Hons) [First Class] in Film&Media and French. My dissertation project, A Bunch of Gentlemen, a twelve-minute documentary, has won the RTS award in the category Best
