To involve the greatest possible number of alumni and alumnae with College on an annual basis by creating a range of programs and services so appealing that alumni will seek to remain engaged with the College and each other. A dynamic, member-focused organization, driven by Franciscan values and directed towards supporting the social, intellectual, and spiritual needs of all present and future alumni of Niger state college of Nursing science .

To build and maintain lifelong relations with the their parent institute and school, so as to stimulate interest, build loyalty, increase development and generate support (monetary and other) for the School and its enrolled students.

To create a lifelong and worldwide community of alumni through increased opportunities for meaningful engagement in order to increase awareness, pride, participation, volunteer involvement, and philanthropic commitment to NSCNS

To provide a liaison between the Academy staff of NSCN and its trustees, administration, staff, students, and friends


1. Maintain an effective Alumni database, keep its records up-to-date and provide its access to all college users.

2. To provide a forum for the members for exchange of ideas on academic, cultural and social issues of the day by organizing and coordinating reunion activities of the Alumni

3. Encourage the growth of Niger state school of nursing science in terms of its academic, administrative, cultural and extracurricular activities through appropriate programs which will be run by the alumni.

4. To encourage, foster and promote close relations among the members themselves.

5. To assist and support the efforts of school of Nursing science in obtaining funds for development.

6. Plan, arrange and execute events initiated by members for the Alumni body

7. To guide and assist members who have recently completed their courses of study at the shool of Nursing Science to keep them engaged in productive pursuits useful to the society.

8. Solicit financial support and other resources from members, friends of the

College and other sources to uplift the standard of Nigerson
