Rev. Andre L. Pickens was born in Detroit, Michigan, and educated in Detroit Public Schools. It was through reading the Bible that he was saved and called to the preach the Word. He preached his "trial sermon" October 2, 1983 at the age of seventeen and was Licensed to preach the gospel. Pastor Pickens was ordained to the Gospel Ministry in 1992.
