Porter Anderson ( @Porter_Anderson) BA, MA, MFA, is a journalist, speaker, and consultant specializing in book publishing and its digital disruption. Formerly with CNN and the Village Voice, he is today Editor-in-Chief of the German Book Office's Publishing Perspectives, affiliated with the Frankfurt Book Fair, and previously he served as Associate Editor of The FutureBook for London’s The Bookseller.

As a producer, Anderson has held a diplomatic posting to Rome with the United Nations (P5, Level 7, laissez-passer), assigned to the international headquarters of the World Food Programme. He also has served as executive producer for Denmark's INDEX: Design To Improve Life, under the patronage of HRH Frederik, in Copenhagen.
