Laura Haber

Haber was born in Bristol, Tennessee, in 1966. She moved to North Palm Beach, Florida, in 1977 and attended Howell I Watkins Junior High. She later relocated to Plantation, Fla., where she attended South Plantation High School from 1981 to 1984.

Haber received her GED in 1984. She was well-known in her hometown for her lead role in the band Laura and the Crazy Heart Band. Her band was featured in the Sun-Sentinel newspaper in 1993.
