Who am I? Nobody. People feign care yet ignore obvious suffering because it won’t serve them. I am located totally nowhere. I wish only to not be assailed with the petty and less significant pain of others that place mine on a lesser tier than than their own. We are people in the world, all trying to be acknowledged. Yet I fail without a quantifiable reason. Yet I smile. Abused, ignored, marginalized. Never defeated. That will come in death, where my footprint will fade like a footprint in a snowstorm, like years in rain. Never deep enough to reach the ground, but easily covered by the elements. Remember that we are all people in the world searching for others to understand us. As a quote form the great Buckaroo Banzai said, “Hey, hey, hey, hey-now. Don't be mean; we don't have to be mean, cuz, remember, no matter where you go, there you are.” Sad that fiction conveys deeper meanings than we can to each other.
