Blue Bell Corner, New Brunswick

After decades happily living and working on and from two historic farmhouses in Ontario, a log cabin in the Rockies in Montana, and two stone cottages - one in the highlands of Scotland and the other in Northern England, I am not only sharing my love of saving history and the countryside/environment, but also helping my family (my life partner Richard, and my mother, Joy) in our new joint venture in New Brunswick, to live sustainably off the land, to save on grocery bills by canning and preserving from our small orchard and large garden, and to be constantly renovating our Blue Belldon Farm historic home, using salvaged and reclaimed pieces and upgrading by down-sizing. In addition, Richard and I run Rural Revivals, a reno. company and event consultancy firm concerned with designing and celebrating our agricultural and forested lands in all ways (see Rural Revivals on Facebook) and I personally run Rustic Revivals (since 2011) - as an innovative salvage and folk-artist (see Rustic Revivals on, OR on Facebook).
