I was the editor (and frequent contributor) of the now-defunct zine The Dagger. I used to be a reporter for a controversial Northern California weekly newspaper. I am currently a freelance writer of both fiction and non fiction. I've held various jobs, including dishwasher, busgirl, waitress, bartender, printing/bindery worker, English tutor, assistant to a private investigator, special education teacher and librarian.
