Satoyama Seasons

I came to Japan in 1997. My photography is my way of making an intimate connection with the village and country that I call home, and an expression of my love of nature - a love which goes back to my childhood days exploring the forests, fields, rivers and lanes of small village in Wiltshire, England. Then, as now, I want to know where the big, old trees are, what's behind that bend in the river and where the crows go to roost.
