My debut international poetry collection was published on 17 December 2016 by Creative Talents Unleashed (USA) available from my Author page http://www.ctupublishinggroup.com/don-beukes-.html . My second collection 'Icarus Rising- Volume1' was published by Alien Buddha Press in November 2017, with ekphrastic poems written in collaboration with artists from South Africa, America and the UK. I have publications in various Anthologies and international literature journals and magazines and have been shortlisted for the Pushcart Poetry Prize in October 2016 and nominated for the 'Best of the Net' in 2017 both by Scarlet Leaf Review. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, I was born raised and educated in the last two decades of apartheid.
