My early ambitions to be an engine driver or archaeologist were replaced by novelist, a notion in conflict with the need to earn a living. However, a novel 'The Stove-Rake' was published by HarperCollins New Zealand in 2002. Another is well overdue.
I like all animals, though I prefer to see some insects and big spiders before they see me, because I don't like surprises. I also enjoy pub quiz trivia, movies, wine and craft beers, walking, slow cooking, and slow travel. So no surprise that I'm a slow writer.
