I'm the rare bird, a woman diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Disorder. That implies there is something wrong with me, something that needs fixing. I intend to use this space to shout into the void for acceptance, for a change toward understanding and to advocate for quality of life. Looking for more rare birds, we can form a flock.

Trained as a scientist, although not a psychologist (my PhD is psych-based, and in a business field), I have a passion to incite new areas of research to improve the overall lives of those on the spectrum--especially adults (contrary to the plethora of research on children ONLY ASDs do not go away when an individual turns 18) and women.

Hope you'll join me on this journey, and that together we can grow, learn and shape a kinder world for all of us touched by the "Spectrum".
