Harjeet Kaur

Vijayawada, India

My writing was limited to school essays and projects for my kids and out of the blue, my writing career began with writing articles for the magazine section of a reputed national newspaper. I rediscovered my best subject at school and began writing with gusto. I had a weekend column in the newspaper which was well appreciated. I started off writing
about Interiors and Gardens and later diverse topics like Fashion, trends, food and events in the city.
Juggling my time between various jobs down the years and my writing, I have written content for fliers, brochures for colleges, speeches, social media content and also website content. I love writing and I am open to write on a plethora of topics. My blog has some interesting insights into my life and travels but now it is mainly a food blog as I am growing organic vegetables and cooking my own produce is very theraupetic.Read my blog
I am a true blue Aquarian, a free spirit, (but Yoga keeps me grounded) just like you can't bottle the four winds in a jar, or tie down the clouds. I am a proud Grand Ma of an impish 3-year-old grandson with another on the way but at heart I am still the woman I was at 20(though the old bones creaking keep reminding me of my age).I have assimilated a lot during this journey of life and I like to share all those experiences, through my blogs. Whether it is travel, beauty, grooming or cooking, painting, and embroidery or any DIY from waste thingy, I declare that I am a Jill of all trades, mistress of none!
I am a bit like a tempest, but I am not scary, hang on and be my friend to learn that I could be the best friend ever. Like a true blue Aquarian, I am a grand visionary but I have a very humanitarian approach to life. I love people around me and I learn a lot from every individual who crosses my path. I am deeply interested in the personal lives of everyone, from the valet to the bellboy to the little boy who cries down the lane. People chase rainbows, but I live on one :) Babies and kids amaze me and I am completely besotted with them.
I love “Friends” and even if they break up with me for any reason, I would still say, “Can’t we still be friends?" I am born gregarious, but circumstances have left me alone. I do try to keep my chin up most of the time but then, I am not made of stone. I crumble under the rubble, but then I bounce back like the Phoenix. I have an instinctive empathy and a knack of comforting and counselling people. I identify more with youngsters rather than my peers.
I think I usually have a dreamy, wandering expression, but I do not live in the clouds. I have a good sense of humour when I am ribbed well. I genuinely believe in; equality-brotherhood-love for al, live and let live, seek the truth.
I write from my heart and what I write is what I feel...
I feel a feel,
A funny feel
A funny feel, feel I!
If you feel the feel I feel
You'll feel the same as I!!
